In Kerala, Plus One (Class 11) subjects are grouped into different streams. The main streams include Science (with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics), Humanities (including History, Economics, Geography, etc.), and Commerce (with subjects like Business Studies, Accountancy, and Economics). Plus One also includes vocational courses like Home Science and Computer Science. 

Science Stream:

Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics: These are the core subjects. 

Other combinations: Possible combinations include Physics, Chemistry, Home Science, Biology; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Home Science; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geology; Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics, etc. 

Humanities Stream:

History, Economics, Geography, Tamil: These are some of the subjects offered in the Humanities stream.

Other combinations: Examples include History, Economics, Sanskrit Sahitya, Sanskrit Sasthra; History, Philosophy, Sanskrit Sahitya, Sanskrit Sasthra. 

Commerce Stream:

Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Maths: These are core subjects in the Commerce stream.

Other combinations: Examples include Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Statistics; Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Politics; Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Computer Application. 

Vocational Courses:

Home Science, Computer Science, etc.: These courses provide practical skills and knowledge. 

General Information:

The Kerala Board of Public Examinations (KBPE) prescribes the syllabus and conducts exams for Higher Secondary Education. 

The Plus One exam is conducted in pen-paper format. 

The Kerala DHSE +1 exam is conducted for class 11th students.


Kerala Plus one Result 2025 Tomorrow! The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) will announce the Kerala Plus one result 2025 tomorrow, June 3, at 1 pm. Students can check the Kerala Plus One result 2025 on the official website -results.kite.kerala.gov.in or dhsekerala.gov.in.The Kerala Education minister, Sri. V. Shivankutty will announce DHSE +1 Result 2025 via press meet tomorrow.
